Aukeem Ballard is a current PhD student at University of California, Berkeley where his research falls at the intersection of policy and practice while centering on equity in schools through relationships. A former teacher and school leader, his passion for the practice of education is what drives his current research. He consults with various organizations on issues regarding mentoring, student-centered & data-driven programs and practices, Social-emotional learning and intelligence; and issues regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion.
