"Aukeem Ballard talks about how do we make sense of the broader field of education not only within the context of education during the global pandemic and the issues that arise due to it, but also how do we make sense of the future of public education post-pandemic. . Aukeem Ballard is a current PhD student at University of California, Berkeley where his research falls at the intersection of policy and practice while centering on equity in schools through relationships. A former teacher and school leader, his passion for the practice of education is what drives his current research. He consults with various organizations on issues regarding mentoring, student-centered & data-driven programs and practices, Social-emotional learning and intelligence; and issues regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion.
