About this talk
I would be honored to speak about the area of learning that exists in the psychological zone of discomfort and that this can be fostered and promoted to guide students through wonder and curiosity to a variety learning objectives that include problem-solving, hypothesizing, providing meaningful feedback, observation, data collection, interpretation, perspective, and a variety of higher-order thinking skills. I have done this with the use of various demonstrations that create wonder in students and I work through simple stages of prediction, questions, amended predictions, hypothesis, testing those hypotheses, etc.
