Participants will explore why PBL is not only a unique and highly effective framework for teaching content and skills, but a must-have for a teacher or parent wanting to create meaningful asynchronous learning experiences at home. We will review the elements of a PBL unit and begin to develop ideas around the PBL possibilities in home learning. This workshop will also review roles of parents and teachers in PBL home teaching.
