Teachers have perfected ways to organize their physical space, but for those of us teaching in a virtual classroom for the first time the organization can be a bit overwhelming. Students and parents feel the frustration as well.
In this session, participants will learn ways to organize their classroom by: - adjusting the settings of their space. - thinking about and defining routines. - defining clear topics or modules. - organizing lessons and assignments within topics. - highlighting important information. - using visual cues to help students and parents. - taming email notifications. While this session will focus primarily on Google Classroom, the principles can be applied to any learning management system.
