About this talk

Learn to Use Meditation and Mindfulness with Kids Create A Calm Classroom in Your Home or School Learn to Increase Focus and Productivity with Mindfulness Create a Positive and Equitable Work or School Culture

There are not many people in the world who have not been affected by the uncertain times we are experiencing. Parents, teachers, and kids are feeling stressed and anxious over the current school situation whether it is virtual, hybrid, or in-person.

Due to the current climate, many are searching for ways to cope with the stress.

Parents at home are struggling to keep kids on task with virtual learning, keep up a physical activity regiment, and keep academic focus during hours of computer work.

Even prior to the events of these past 6 months, students were in desperate need for more social and emotional support. Mindfulness and mediation are proven to improve students’ focus and academic achievement. Students who regularly participate in meditation, mindfulness, and yoga have increased their tests scores and performance in daily academic activities.

Mindfulness, mediation, and yoga also decrease behavioral issues. Children who practice mindfulness, even for just a few moments a day, have fewer outbursts at home and in school. With these tools, they are able to self regulate their emotions and express themselves.

Simply put, kids who use mindfulness do better emotionally, socially, and academically. Who are the best teachers of kids? The adults that spend the most time with them! This is why we firmly believe in training the parents and classroom teachers to provide mindfulness every single day to every child.

This session will explain the science of why mindfulness works, what it is, and how to use it right away with the kids in your life.
