About this talk
Picture book read-alouds are a meaningful way to teach key leadership skills to kids of all ages. Books bring examples of behaviors to life without being didactic, and the combination of artwork and language is a unique combination that aids cognition in other areas of learning, including social skills and problem solving. In this session, Lisa will highlight some recently published picture books and give examples of how to use them in any setting in order to help students learn leadership, cooperation, listening, and social skills.
