About this talk
The Flipped Classroom as an instructional practice is well suited for this time of distance and hybrid learning. As the “sage on a stage” approach becomes more obsolete by the disruption of COVID-19, educators must turn to new (and in some cases, old) pedagogies to meet classroom objectives. By applying flipped learning practices to online, distance, and hybrid learning environments, educators can continue to support meaningful learning.
This session will demonstrate how to use Edmodo and other tools to flip learning, no matter where it happens. Learn how to:
✔️Provide curated videos and tools for students to watch and interact with ✔️Check student understanding using formative assessment ✔️Facilitate hands-on application of concepts and create opportunities for collaboration
